Powder coating is an innovative form of painting for various types of surfaces: black steel, galvanized steel, but also aluminum and even stainless steel. Powder coating makes them resistant to abrasion, corrosion and impact. The process is carried out in a modern powder coating system.
Our powder coating system consisting of a two-station spraying dry powder chamber 410 x 170 x 230 cm (width x depth x height) equipped with specialized Nordson Encore applicators, an curing oven 410 x 170 x 230 cm (length x width x height) for curing sprayed substrate and the integrated upper transport system gives the possibility of anti-corrosion protection of most of our own products, as well as powder coating services for other customers.
Modern, high-quality equipment combined with the experience of the staff and the use of proven high-quality paints adapted to the requirements of the products guarantee high quality of the powder coating. Although we most often use a dozen or so of the most popular colors from the RAL palette, we offer a full range of colors from the RAL palette with varying degrees of paint gloss: matt, semi-matt, satin and gloss, as well as special paints and colors such as DB703, glitter paints, fine and coarse structured paints, metallic and antique powder paints.
The painting process begins in the spraying dry powder chamber after the surface was prepared for painting. It consists in spraying the powder with an electrostatic gun and compressed air. Electrically charged powder is attracted to grounded objects to be painted. Then, the products are transferred to the curing oven using the upper transport system and, at a temperature of 160 to 230 degrees (according to the requirements of individual manufacturers and types of powder paints used), the resin is cured for 15 to 25 minutes. In the case of need better corrosion protection of products, painting with two coatings is used: a primer and a topcoat. Thanks to this, the painted elements are protected against corrosion, as well as obtain aesthetic and functional qualities.
